The following results are from a recent WWE pay-per-view event. WrestleMania 31 took place on March 29th, 2015 at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

WrestleMania KickOff

Fatal Four Way Match For The WWE Tag Team Championships
Tyson Kidd & Cesaro (w/Natalya) (c) defeated The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Big E) (w/Xavier Woods), The Ascension (Konnor & Viktor) and Los Matadores (Fernando & Diego) (w/El Torito).

Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal
The Big Show defeated Adam Rose, Alex Riley, Big E, Bo Dallas, Cesaro, Curtis Axel, Damien Mizdow, Darren Young, Diego, Erick Rowan, Fandango, Fernando, Goldust, Heath Slater, Hideo Itami, Jack Swagger, Jimmy Uso, Kane, Kofi Kingston, Konnor, Mark Henry, The Miz, Ryback, Sin Cara, Titus O’Neil, Tyson Kidd, Viktor, Xavier Woods and Zack Ryder to win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

WRESTLEMANIA 31

Opening Segment
The opening of the pay-per-view saw LL Cool J talk about how technology has evolved and how fans will be here to witness moments tonight, chant “This Is Awesome” and more and was followed up by Aloe Blacc singing “America The Beautiful”.

Ladder Match For The WWE Intercontinental Championship
Daniel Bryan defeated Bad News Barrett, Dolph Ziggler, Stardust, R-Truth, Luke Harper and Dean Ambrose to become the new WWE Intercontinental Champion. Post-match, Bryan celebrated at the top of the ladder with the fans chanting “YES, YES, YES”.

Singles Match
Randy Orton defeated Seth Rollins (w/Jamie Noble & Joey Mercury).

No Disqualification Match
Triple H (w/Shawn Michaels, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn & X-Pac) defeated Sting (w/Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall & Kevin Nash). Post-match, Triple H extended his hand to Sting and both men shook hands.

Backstage Segment
Maria Menounos and Daniel Bryan are shown backstage, with Maria congratulating Daniel on his win and asking him what it is like to be the WWE Intercontinental Champion, however before he can get a word in, Pat Patterson interrupts and congratulates him, followed by Roddy Piper who said that every time he thought he had the answers, Daniel changes the questions. Ricky Steamboat then appeared and congratulated Daniel and said that it ranks up there with his match against Randy Savage. Ric Flair then appeared and said that he knew that Daniel had it in him. Bryan said that there is one thing that he would like for Ric Flair to say, as Flair “woooos” around. Bret Hart then appeared to a huge ovation and congratulated Bryan and said that he can’t think of a better representation of winning the title as they all chant “YES”. Ron Simmons appeared, looks at them all, says “DAMN!” and leaves. Awesome segment.

Tag Team Match
AJ Lee & Paige defeated The Bella Twins (Brie Bella & Nikki Bella). Post-match, the company took a look back at the WWE Hall of Fame inductees, followed by musical performances from Kid Ink, Travis Barker and Skylar Grey.

WWE United States Championship Match
John Cena defeated Rusev (w/Lana) to become the new WWE United States Champion.

In Ring Segment
Stephanie McMahon and Triple H came to the ring with Stephanie saying that she is proud to announce that an attendance record has been set for 76,976 people in Levi’s Stadium and talked about sitting in the crowd for WrestleMania 1 when her friend Andre The Giant slammed Big John Studd and said that back then, WrestleMania was only available on closed-circuit television, but now, it is available in 170 countries on the WWE Network and said that this evolution would not be possible without her and her husband Triple H, as without them and their guidance, WWE would not be where it is today. Triple H said that the truth hurts and not only did he beat Sting, he felt like he beat anyone who ever bet against them and said that it was like he beat the 76,976 fans and the millions more watching on the WWE Network and the fact is, he owned Sting, just like they own every Superstar and Diva backstage, just like they own all of the fans and whether you like it or don’t like it, it doesn’t matter as The Authority always wins.

The Rock’s music hit and he came to the ring and soaked in the fans chants, however Stephanie told them to be quiet. The Rock said that The Authority don’t own the fans and they damn sure don’t own The Rock and that they can come out and run down the people, but they fail to realize that The Rock in an East Bay boy, he was born in the East Bay and there are two choices, either Triple H can go and dress up like Terminator again, or they can have a WrestleMania moment right here and right now and bring back one of the biggest rivalries of all-time, Triple H against The Rock. Both men went face-to-face, however Triple H said that they had a hell of a rivalry, but he remembers kicking The Rock’s a** for most of it and he doesn’t have anything to prove. The Rock said that just like he left his heart in San Francisco, in front of the millions of The Rock’s fans, HHH has left his balls in Stamford, Connecticut. HHH went to go to attack The Rock, however Stephanie stopped him and said that The Rock has a chip on his shoulder, he is going to feed the crowd lines and he will feed his ego and that The Rock knows that without the McMahon’s, there is no Rock and then mentioned Peter Maivia, Rocky Johnson and Dwayne Johnson would be nobody without Vince McMahon, Vince McMahon Jr. & Stephanie McMahon. The fans chanted Shane McMahon’s name as The Rock said that Stephanie is talking about the Johnson’s and the McMahon’s, but the truth is that Stephanie would not be in power if it wasn’t for Vince McMahon’s johnson. Stephanie slapped The Rock and asked him what’s he going to do about it, hit a woman and said that this is her house and her people and The Rock needs to get out of here.

The Rock left the ring, but went to ringside and stood next to UFC’s Ronda Rousey, who he invited over the ringside barrier, as both went into the ring. The Rock said that he would never hit a woman, but he has a friend who would be happy to. Stephanie said that it is a nice surprise to call Ronda Rousey into the ring on the spur of the moment, but they are both fans of each other and Ronda was ringside for her match at WWE SummerSlam and wants to know if The Rock filled Ronda’s head with dreams of having a WrestleMania moment, because it’s not going to happen and said that Ronda is the most dangerous woman in MMA, the queen of the Octagon and she would never mess with Ronda in MMA, but this is the squared circle and that Ronda needs to get out of the ring. Ronda said that any ring she steps into is hers and if Stephanie wants her to leave, then she has to make her as Stephanie fired back and told her to get the hell out of the ring now. The Rock interrupted and said that Ronda is getting mad and it means that if Stephanie continues to run her mouth, Ronda will reach down Stephanie’s throat and play jumprope with her fallopian tubes. HHH said that is the last thing that The Rock says about his wife, which The Rock agreed to and then punched HHH, which was followed by Ronda hitting HHH with a judo throw. Stephanie turned Ronda around and attempted to slap her, however Ronda got her by the arm and teased locking in an armbar. The Rock got in the mic and said that is being called owned and that is the biggest WrestleMania moment of the night if you smell what The Rock and Ronda is cooking.

Singles Match
The Undertaker defeated Bray Wyatt.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match
Seth Rollins defeated Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar (w/Paul Heyman) to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Rollins’ music hit towards the end of the match when both Reigns and Lesnar were down, cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase and hit the Curb Stomp on Reigns to pick up the victory.
