Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Christian made his return to the WWE following a lengthy injury on tonight’s edition of WWE RAW defeating Wade Barrett.

Barrett was scheduled to face Curtis Axel in a rematch for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, however WWE RAW’s Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero came out and announced that Barrett would be facing her “Big Surprise”, which was revealed to be Christian.
