WWE posted a job opening last night on their corporate website, looking for a new Vice President of Digital and Social Media, with one of the key elements to develop all digital strategies related to Network for: Online, Mobile, VOD, “streaming” and all interactive elements (email, SMS, text, chat and polling applications etc.).

Description
The WWE, an international media and entertainment company, is launching a new television network which will be THE most interactive channel to be leveraged across all media platforms. WWE is looking for a VP of Digital and Social Media who will be instrumental in the creation and launch of a fully multiplatform television network – WWE TV. The VP will be responsible for: overall strategy of integrating TV with digital, overseeing the management and operations of the multi-media integration. The VP will enhance the current initiatives to encompass one voice for the brand, with an eye toward increasing daily interactions (i.e. page views and user engagement) and influencing participation/audience rates.

Responsibilities
– Develop all digital strategies related to Network for: Online, Mobile, VOD, “streaming” and all interactive elements (email, SMS, text, chat and polling applications etc.)

– Subject Matter Expert on understanding social integration points from TV to Digital to Mobile etc.

– Manage social media outlets: Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, YouTube etc.

– Partner with SVP, Digital Operations/ Technology on Negotiating and managing outside vendor partnerships for the network in support of production and programming for digital and social media

– Streamline delivery process; manage workflow of distribution and content management strategies from creation to delivery

– Coordinate with Programming and Marketing to ensure promotional and brand integrity

– Work with Operations to ensure integration with all deliveries

– Maintain communication with stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally

– Understand WWE’s strategic and competitive position and deliver programs that are recognized best in the industry.

– Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.

Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred

– 10+ years experience leading Digital Media plans, preferably involving Network environment

– Experience developing digital and social content strategies which have been leveraged through multiple-media platforms

– Experience with a wide variety of video media platforms: digital, social, mobile/apps , interactive, VOD, broadband

– Exceptional communication and presentation skills

– Leadership skills

– Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
