WWE SmackDown Live will be moving to FOX in October 2019 when the WWE’s current deal with the USA Network comes to an end, according to a report from Darren Rovell of ESPN who noted that after the USA Network gave up its right of first refusal, that FOX made a big offer for the show.
There has been talk of the show moving back to Friday nights as part of the move to FOX, however nothing has been officially confirmed by both sides as of writing.
WWE’s stock however has seen a surge since the news broke as WWE look set to dramatically increase their revenue with the new TV deals with NBC Universal for Monday Night RAW and FOX for SmackDown Live.
