WWE announced that the tag team champions Cody Rhodes and Goldust will defend their titles against The New Age Outlaws on the Kick-Off show this Sunday, prior to the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

It was also announced that Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair and Jim Duggan will make up the Royal Rumble panel this Sunday; all are former Rumble winners.

Flair won the 1992 Rumble, which is considered the greatest Rumble match of all time, and included superstars  Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Sid Justice and The Undertaker. Flair broke the record, at the time, for lasting the longest time in the Rumble (beating Rick “The Model” Martel’s record from the previous year), and was crowned the WWF Championship.
