The following results are from the January 7th edition of Raw, which comes to us from the Tampa Bay Times Forum, in Tampa Bay, FL.

Opening Video
Raw starts with a video hyping the return of The Rock who is there to evaluate his opponent at the Royal Rumble. The question is then asked of who will be the winner of the just medically cleared to compete, CM Punk versus Ryback in a TLC match tonight. The video ends with, “We will be electrified tonight on Monday night Raw.”

In Ring Segment
John Cena’s music hits and he begins to walk towards the ring. A highlight of last weeks ending to Raw is shown, with Dolph Ziggler and AJ Lee getting “pooped on” in the ring.  Cena is putting over the Punk/Ryback TLC match tonight, and the return of The Rock.  He begins to talk about the Royal Rumble, when he is interrupted by Dolph Ziggler, AJ, and Big E. Langston.  Ziggler officially enters his name for the Royal Rumble on January 27th.  Big E Langston then grabs the mic, to a ton of boos by the live crowd.  Langston says, “It’s on!”  Raw goes to commercial with an in prompt to match between Ziggler and Cena.

Singles Match
John Cena defeated Dolph Ziggler by pin fall with the Attitude Adjustment.

Divas Championship Match
Kaitlyn defeated Eve (c) by count out, Eve remains Divas Champion.

Backstage Segment
Santino Marella and Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat are talking about WrestleMania III, and Steamboat says that match against Macho Man Randy Savage, was his favorite of all time.  Wade Barrett interrupts, insults Steamboat, and leaves. Steamboat tells Santino that he will be in his corner later tonight.

Backstage Interview
Matt Striker is interviewing Randy Orton about the upcoming Royal Rumble. 3MB interrupt and say that they have also officially entered the Royal Rumble match. Randy Orton chooses to face Heath Slater later tonight on Raw.

Tag Team Match (Non-Title)
Team Rhodes Scholars defeated Team Hell No (c) by pin fall, with Rhodes hitting Crossroads on Bryan.

Singles Match
Randy Orton defeated Heath Slater (with Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre) by pin fall with the RKO.  After the match, 3MB try to attack Randy Orton, but Orton hits the RKO on all 3 members.

Intercontinental Championship Match
Wade Barrett (c) defeated Santino Marella by pin fall with his elbow finisher the Bull Hammer. After the match, Barrett is looking to attack Marella again, but Steamboat is there to prevent it.

Backstage Interview
Matt Striker is interviewing Sheamus, and asks him if he can win the WHC again at WrestleMania in 18 seconds. 3MB walks in, and Sheamus begins to make fun of the band. Sheamus says he’ll see them out in the ring later.

Singles Match
Antonio Cesaro defeated The Great Khali (with Hornswoggle and Natalya) by pin fall with the Neutralizer. The Miz joined the commentary team. Cesaro hinted at a possible feud with The Miz post-match.

Backstage Segment
Paul Heyman is shown on the phone talking. Brad Maddox gets his attention, Heyman hangs up, Maddox suggests to Heyman that he goes to Vickie Guerrero’s office and ask to ref the TLC match. Heyman becomes angry and tells him no, and don’t ever interrupt him again.

Singles Match
Sheamus defeated Jinder Mahal (with Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre) by pin fall with the Brogue Kick. Entire 3MB received Brogue Kicks during the match.

Video Segment
CM Punk’s reign as WWE Champion, Ryback injuring Punk leading him to have emergency knee surgery, and the lead up to the TLC match which is next on Raw.

WWE Championship TLC Match
CM Punk (c) (with Paul Heyman) defeated Ryback with interference from The Shield. The Shield put Ryback through a table and onto the steel steps, enabling Punk to climb the ladder and retain the title. It’s announced that he will face The Rock at Royal Rumble.

Backstage Segment
CM Punk and Paul Heyman in locker room, Punk says he has nothing to do with Brad Maddox or The Shield. He says he is going back out into the ring before The Rock does, to “drop a pipe bomb.”

Backstage Segment
Team Hell No is shown arguing about their loss to Team Rhodes Scholars earlier in the night. Some “Yes/No” arguing, until “excuse me” Vickie Guerrero interrupts the two. She informs them that next week is the 4 month check up with Dr. Shelby, laughs and walks away. Team Hell No begin arguing about Dr. Shelby, he’s a “Nerd/Monster” argument ensues.

Singles Match (Non-Title)
The Big Show defeated Kofi Kingston by pin fall with the Weapon of Mass Destruction.

In Ring Segment
CM Punk is out to deliver a pipe bomb, with his “Knees 2 Faces” shirt! Punk delivers a great promo, explaining that “pipe bombs” are just him being honest. Hits a number of topics, from Daniel Bryan being a submission grappler but having a goofy gimmick, to WWE choosing to showcase “Little Jimmy” instead of a great wrestler like Tyson Kidd. His 1 year title reign is equal to a 30 year non-modern era reign. “Bruno Sammartino wrestled 1 night a month at Madison Square Garden… Hulk Hogan had it easy, he never wrestled Ryback in a TLC match.” Punk spoke the truth, and delivered a pipe bomb.

The Rock’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring! Rock calls Punk delusional, he knows about his 414 days as champion, but he tells him 20 is the number to remember. In 20 days, The Rock tells CM Punk that his “time is up.” The Rock and CM Punk continue the back and forth in anticipation for their Royal Rumble WWE Championship matchup.

Raw ends with The Rock delivering the Rock Bottom to CM Punk, Punk rolls to the outside. The Rock holds the WWE title in the middle of the ring, than tosses it outside to Punk.
