The following are the results of the June 2nd edition of WWE RAW which took place from the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, with the fallout from the Payback pay-per-view.
In Ring Segment
An angry Evolution kicks off RAW, and are walking to the ring with a purpose. Triple H is sporting a major black eye on his left eye, after their battle with The Shield last night at the Payback PPV. Triple H tells the crowd that they all think that The Shield have won and that this is over, but he says that he doesn’t lose, and that this will not be over until The Shield no longer exist. Batista rips the mic out of Triple H’s hands, and tells him that he doesn’t want to fight The Shield tonight. Batista wants his rematch for the WWE Championship that is owed to him, and he doesn’t care about The Shield anymore. Triple H says that Daniel Bryan is hurt and can’t compete, and even if he could, Batista would “probably choke anyways.” Triple H says he has a plan, and they are going to put an end to The Shield first, then Batista will get everything he wants. Batista says he understands, and then tells Triple H he quits. Batista exits the ring, while Triple H and Randy Orton are in the ring irate.
Tag Team Match
Sheamus & RVD defeated Cesaro (w/Paul Heyman) & Bad News Barrett by pin fall (5 Star Frog Splash). Cesaro and Heyman walked out on Barrett during the match.
In Ring Segment
Damien Sandow comes out wearing an Indiana Pacer, Lance Stephenson, jersey and tells the Indianapolis crowd that LeBron James is the greatest basketball player! He starts showing his basketball skills when The Big Show’s music hits. Big Show hits him with a KO punch, than slam dunks the ball and breaks the rim that’s in the ring.
Singles Match
Bo Dallas defeated Kofi Kingston by pin fall (BOdog).
After the match, Renee Young is outside Triple H’s office trying to get his reaction to Batista quitting the WWE. Instead, Stephanie McMahon comes out and tells her that he is busy, but informs her that she is on her way to the ring to make an announcement on the WWE Championship.
In Ring Segment
Stephanie McMahon addresses the situation regarding Brie Bella quitting the WWE and slapping her in the face last night at Payback. She announces that in 4 weeks at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view, if Daniel Bryan is able to compete, he will face the demon Kane in a Stretcher Match. If Bryan can’t compete, than the MITB match itself will be for the vacated title. Huge announcement by Stephanie! John Cena’s music hits, and he is greeted with his usual mixed reaction. Cena can relate to Daniel Bryan, as he had to give up his title when he had to go and have surgery (Referring to losing to Daniel Bryan at last year’s SummerSlam, and going on to have his tricep surgery). Cena supports Daniel Bryan, and says that Bryan proves he is championship material every time he steps into the ring. He goes on to say that Stephanie is doing a terrible job as The Authority, and she is not doing what’s best for business. Stephanie doesn’t care what Cena or the WWE Universe thinks, and goes on to tell Cena he will face Daniel Bryan’s opponent Kane, and it’s next!
Singles Match
John Cena defeated Kane by DQ. Post-match, Kane continued his attack on Cena, but Cena was able to fight back and ended up hitting Kane with the steel steps.
After the match, Renee Young catches up with Randy Orton who says that Batista took his ball and went home. Orton says he will prove he is still the face of the WWE, and will take on Roman Reigns later tonight.
Tag Team Match
Los Matadores (w/Torito) defeated Drew McIntyre & Heath Slater (w/Hornswaggle & Jinder Mahal) by pin fall (Quick Rollup).
Divas Handicap Match
Aksana & Alicia Fox defeated Nikki Bella by pin fall.
After the match, Luke Harper (with Erick Rowan) cut a promo against The Usos, and they are without their leader Bray Wyatt.
Singles Match
Adam Rose defeated Jack Swagger (w/Zeb Colter) by pin fall.
Backstage Segment
Byron Saxton is with The Usos as they get set to face The Wyatt Family in a non-title match next.
Tag Team Match
Erick Rowan & Luke Harper defeated The Usos by pin fall in a non-title match. Bray Wyatt was not out at ringside for the match.
Money In The Bank Qualifying Match
Alberto Del Rio defeated Dolph Ziggler by submission (Cross Arm Breaker).
Tag Team Match
Rybaxel defeated Goldust & Sin Cara by pin fall. Cody Rhodes picked Sin Cara to be Goldust’s partner tonight after claiming he needed a better tag team partner at Payback last night.
In Ring Segment
After his victory over Big E at last night’s Payback pay-per-view, Rusev is honored as a hero by the Russian Federation.
Singles Match
Roman Reigns vs Randy Orton never happens. Triple H says that tonight is Plan B, and Seth Rollins turns heel and lays Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose out with chair shots! Rollins steps out of the ring, hands Orton the chair, and Orton now attacks Ambrose and Reigns. RAW ends with Triple H, Seth Rollins and Randy Orton standing in the ring over the beaten members of The Shield. The crowd is chanting “You Sold Out” to Seth Rollins.
