In an update for programming scheduled to air on the WWE Network, WWE filmed material for two prospective shows to air on the WWE Network on December 7th at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida that highlighted several stars from WWE’s developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling, as well as various WWE superstars. John Laurinatis and Triple H were also in attendance for the taping.
The tapings featured matches with Hour One seeing Xavier Woods defeated Big E. Langston, Richie Steamboat defeating Brad Maddox, Kaitlyn and Alicia Fox defeating Aksana and Tamina and Antonio Cesaro defeating Seth Rollins. Hour Two saw Kenneth Cameron defeat Mike Dalton, Leakee defeated Ricardo Rodriguez, Briley Pierce defeat Derrick Bateman, Husky Harris defeat Damien Sandow and Leo Kruger defeat Dean Ambrose, which was followed by a speech from Triple H. There was then a half-hour event that featured Sheamus and Daniel Bryan teaming up to defeat the team of Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre.
Note from Wayne: It seems based off the taping, that WWE will possibly be doing a documentary on Florida Championship Wrestling showing superstars who have come from the developmental territory to make it to television, as well as current stars in FCW. Whatever comes of the taping, it will sure be interesting to see if it makes it’s way to the WWE Network, which debuts on April 1st, 2012.
