In a column for the Norfolk Navy Flagship, George Pantas noted that the WWE has come to terms on the purchase of his footage of Mid-Atlantic Wrestling shot in Virginia at ringside next to the ring announcer from Jim Crockett Promotions events.
Pantas noted that the company first became aware of the footage being available when it was licensed for the documentary by Michael Elliott on Jim Crockett Promotions titled “The Good Old Days” and that unlike the Mid-Atlantic material that the WWE purchased as part of the sale of the WCW library back in 2001, his footage was filmed on 8 and Super 8 cameras owned by himself.
