In a post on his official Twitter account, Sudu Shah announced that Tuesday was his final day with the WWE, with this Friday’s episode of WWE NXT Level Up on the WWE Network and Peacock to be the final time that he calls the show.
The post reads, “Yesterday was my final day with the WWE. What an incredible experience working with some of the most talented people I’ve ever met. Thank you to everyone who watched and supported every week!”
Shah, real name Sudu Upadhyay, started with the company as part of the WWE 205 Live brand in January 2022 alongside Nigel McGuinness, staying in the role when the show was rebranded to WWE NXT Level Up. Shah previously worked as a sports anchor on WMC-TV in Memphis, as well as for FOX 5 News in Atlanta, while he also did viral campaigns for platforms including Bleacher Report, SBNation and ESPN.
