WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis made an appearance during Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown and announced that the company would be introducing the WWE Women’s United States Championship, stating that it would become another opportunity for the Women’s Division to showcase their talent and ruthlessness as they continue to shatter glass ceilings.
There were no further details announced in regards to a potential tournament or qualifying matches for a match at an upcoming Premium Live Event.
