WWE have filed a change of venue motion in the lawsuit brought against the company by Cassandra Frazier, the widow of Nelson Frazier (Viscera, Mabel, Big Daddy V) according to a report from PWInsider.com.
The report notes that the company’s motion requests that the venue be changed from the Western District of Tennessee to Connecticut, noting the similar change of venue motion granted in Billy Jack Haynes’ lawsuit against the WWE to strengthen their argument.
For those unfamiliar with the story, Cassandra Frazier is suing the WWE claiming that her late husband’s injuries while working for the WWE contributed to his death, arguing that injuries, financial losses, pain and suffering, expenses, loss of enjoyment of life and intangible human losses were suffered as a result of WWE’s williful, wanton, reckless and grossly negligent and other conduct and omissions which resulted in Nelson Frazier suffering repetitive serious head injuries, brain trauma, concussions and other serious injuries and eventually, the heart attack which took his life.
