Nikki Bella defeated Beth Phoenix on tonight’s 3-hour episode of WWE RAW to become the new WWE Divas Champion.

Given the recent online reports that both the contracts of Nikki and Brie Bella would expire on April 30th, the victory for Nikki raised a few eyebrows amongst many. In other news, Beth appeared to have suffered some sort of ankle injury. As of writing there is no update on her situation, the severity of it, or how long of in-ring action she will miss.
