WWE released the following video confirming reports over the weekend that former WWE Tag Team Champion Sylvain Grenier would be returning to the company as a backstage agent.

Speaking about his new role, Grenier had the following to say, “It’s nerve-racking but exciting, it’s a long time coming, but I’m back. I’m very very pleased, I’m going to help the new kids around the block, some veterans, I have a lot to learn again, it’s a new job, a new way, a new vision, a new reality, it’s a new aspect and I’m thrilled. There are so many great future talents, I love NXT and see a lot of SmackDown guys. Buddy Murphy has great potential, I love the tag team division, I think they did great. We have a lot of characters and personas, I’m excited about that, I was a multi-time Tag Team Champion, so maybe I have a little bit of input.”
