Speaking during a question and answer session at the Philadelphia Comic Con over the weekend, current WWE Champion CM Punk noted that a new WWE Championship Belt had been designed and produced and will replace the current spinner edition of the WWE Championship.

There is no word yet as to when it will debut, however Punk noted that he hopes that he is the one that introduces it. With RAW 1000 on July 23rd, many people believe that could be the date.
