Live attendance for the company fell 9% from this time last year, which isn’t a good sign for the company, as they have brought new superstars up to the main roster from their developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling, while seeing the likes of Chris Jericho, Batista and others depart the company in recent months.
In terms of WWE’s online numbers, the company’s official website averaged 10.5 million unique visitors, which is down from 10% last year and WWE’s official online store, WWEShop.com averaged 670 orders per day, down approximately 13% from 2010.
In terms of DVD sales, DVD sales were down from last year, with only 194,000 shipped in comparison to 349,000 the year prior. The current top selling WWE DVD’s of the year so far are WWE WrestleMania 27 (229,000), The Best of WCW Nitro (135,000), The True Story of WrestleMania (118,000), DX: One Last Stand (109,000) and The Best of RAW 2010 (96,000).
