Tickets to WrestleMania 29 at MetLife Stadium went on sale to the public this past Saturday. Demand for tickets was at an all-time high as WWE broke two records:

Most tickets sold during the first day of on-sale at 52,029 (beating WrestleMania 18 held on March 17, 2002 at Toronto’s SkyDome, which had 51,620 tickets sold in day one).

Highest gross ticket revenue after day one with more than $10 million (beating WrestleMania 28 held on April 1, 2012 at Miami’s SunLife Stadium, which grossed $6.3 million in revenue in day one).
