In speaking with entertainment website TMZ, a representative for the WWE apologized on behalf of the company and noted that Abraham Washington issued an apology to WWE officials following comments he made on last night’s editiom of WWE RAW.

Washington, who was wearing a live mic during the match between Titus O’Neil and Kofi Kingston noted that Titus was like Kobe Bryant at a hotel room in Colorado, he’s unstoppable, a reference to Kobe’s sexual assault case in 2003 when he was accused of raping a woman in his hotel room in Colorado.

The representative added that WWE has taken appropriate action in the matter and that Abraham Washington felt horrible after he made the comment and claimed that he simply got caught up in the moment and realised that the comment could be hurtful to rape victims and their families.
