– There are people close to Ric Flair who believe that “The Nature Boy” will be returning the WWE on the October 29th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW in Flair’s hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina, with Flair having some involvement in the AJ Lee, Vickie Guerrero and John Cena storyline, this according to a report from PWInsider.com. What is adding more fuel to the fire for some, is that Flair has pulled out of a booking for an upcoming independent wrestling appearance in North Carolina without a known reason.
– Former WWE RAW General Manager AJ Lee will be remaining on WWE RAW going forward, with no talk of removing her from WWE television. A big fan of AJ’s work is Vince McMahon, which might explain why she was thrown into the GM role for a brief period. Meanwhile, WWE is asking fans to Tout their opinions on the allegations against AJ Lee and the apparent affair with a WWE superstar and use the hashtag #AJScandal.
– John Cena is scheduled to appear on the WWE Hell in a Cell pre-show on YouTube prior to this Sunday’s pay-per-view, where he will be addressing AJ Lee being removed as WWE RAW General Manager. Cena is still expected to appear on the WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view itself in an unknown role. Speaking of Cena, he will be on ABC’s “The Chew” today.
– As mentioned previously on the website, WWE are allowing The Undertaker to make up his own mind when it comes to a WWE Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 29 appearance. PWInsider.com reports that Taker’s hip that he had replaced a few years back is said to be damaged pretty bad, in that he is actually back to square one in regards to how bad it is. The feeling is that if Taker worked a match at WrestleMania 29, it wouldn’t be anything too physical. If Taker isn’t good to go by the start of the year, some feel he could miss WrestleMania 29.
– Alberto del Rio’s brother, who wrestles under the name of Memo Montenegro in WWE’s developmental territory, is featured in an interview with The Miami Herald at this link. The article notes that Del Rio and Montenegro will be facing the team of Kassius Ohno and Leo Kruger at this Friday’s WWE NXT live event in West Palm Beach, Florida.
– WWE Champion CM Punk noted on his Twitter that November has now been renamed “Punktober 2” and noted that he had two events lined up writing, “Two awesome events set for November, which has been renamed Punktober 2. Super secret events! #punktober rolls on…”
