– Following the outcome of last night’s TNA Impact Wrestling on Spike TV, it was announced that AJ Styles and Kurt Angle will defend the TNA World Tag Team Championships against Kazarian and Christopher Daniels in the main event next week.

– As a result of Austin Aries handing in the X-Division Championship on last night’s Impact Wrestling to earn a TNA World Heavyweight Championship opportunity against Bobby Roode, that match has now been set as the main event of TNA Destination X. It was also revealed that whoever the Champion is at the 2013 TNA Destination X pay-per-view and beyond, will have the opportunity to challenge for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against whoever the Champion is.

– The early buyrate for the TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view is estimated to be in the region of 14,000 – 15,000 buys.

– TNA Knockout Sarita, who also competes for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre in Mexico under the name of Dark Angel, will be competing in a ten-women steel cage match where the last participant in the cage will lose her hair or her mask. Sarita commented on the matter noting, “HUGE CMLL press conference…June 29 in Arena Mexico, 10 women in a cage with somebody losing her hair or mask! Granny Apache should be happy when I leave her bald…she’ll save a ton on hair dye trying to cover up her grey. Things will keep heating up this Friday night as we face each other in opposite corners in Arena Mexico.”

– For those that have asked, Chris Sabin will require surgery to repair his torn left ACL, which occured during an Ultimate X match on Impact Wrestling and is expected to be out for anything between 6-9 months. Sabin tore his right ACL and returned to action in March following 11 months out due to injury and reconstructive surgery.
