An arrest has been issued for Flair after not paying $32,352.51 in spousal support to his ex-wife, Jacqueline Beems, according to The Charlotte Observer.  The court order was issued earlier this month on July 3, but Flair can avoid jail time if he pays what is owed.  Flair told the Charlotte Observer that he plans to pay Jacqueline this week.

Flair has sighted the recent death of his son and his recent spell in hospital with a blood clot as the reason for falling behind with his spousal support payments.

“The reason I didn’t pay my ex-wife the 32 grand is because my son died and I was in the hospital for a month,” Flair said. “I was in the hospital for a month with a blood clot. I didn’t go to work for three months.”

Flair’s ex-wife, Jacqueline, turned herself into North Carolina authorities on Tuesday after being accused of making a series of harassing and threatening phone calls to Flair’s current girlfriend, Wendy.  Jacqueline was released on $500 bond.  Jacqueline’s attorney is calling the allegations “unfounded and outlandish.”

Flair commented to the newspaper about the conflict: ““My girlfriend Wendy Kidder is the mother of four and she has 50 texts and five phone (voice-)mails from my ex-wife. They didn’t give Wendy a warrant for arrest without looking at all of that stuff.”

In a separate legal issue related to Flair’s divorce proceedings from Jacqueline, Flair is accused of having “numerous intimate relationships with other women during the parties’s marriage to the embarrassment and humiliation of wife.”  Flair denied the allegations to the newspaper.
