Former WWE, WCW and TNA Wrestling creative team member Vince Russo made a claim during a recent video that also features former WCW superstar Disco Inferno, stating that not only did he contact POP TV’s Bradley Schwartz without TNA Wrestling knowing in an attempt to get hired as a consultant to fix what he felt was wrong with the company’s television show, but that he also contacted Destination America when IMPACT Wrestling aired there in an attempt to try and fix the product then as well.
Russo said that in both cases, the networks had no idea what a good wrestling show was, so he had to come to the rescue and show them what a good wrestling product looked like and said that POP TV was “sold a bill of goods” when they brought in TNA and said that he could fix all of that.
