– With WWE RAW moving to 3 hours on July 23rd, the current plan by the company is to push a high calibre match at the start of the show, that would begin at around 8:50p.m or 8:55p.m. to get people talking and then move into their regular audience at 9pm. The WWE would then push another match to air at 10pm and put over the ending scenes after 11pm with an overrun. The show has also received a major upgrade in the Mexican market as it is now airing live in Mexico on Televisa Channel 5, where it had previously been airing on a two-hour tape delay and edited down to a 90 minute show.
– Triple H is currently being advertised for this Monday’s edition of WWE RAW at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Chris Jericho is also being advertised to appear on the show. In an interesting note, Rey Mysterio’s 60-day WWE suspension will be ending tomorrow and he has yet to be advertised for any WWE live events.
– Following his appearance on the June 11th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW, former WWE superstar Leon “Vader” White put over the work of Heath Slater in his match and noted that he had a great time doing the show and would welcome some in-ring work with the WWE, however the feeling from the company is that his knees are shot, with replacement surgery possible and that he has been battling a bad back in recent years and his age isn’t the best, however he may be brought back for sporadic appearances.
– John Laurinaitis is no longer booking WWE live events for the company, with Michael Hayes now in charge of that role.
– John Cena and Alicia Fox’s visit to the Walter Reed Medical Center on Tuesday was picked up by the National Guard’s official Facebook page. Cena and Fox attended to sign autographs and take pictures with recovering military patients, outpatients and wounded warriors.
