In an update on the potential sale of TNA Wrestling, there is said to be no interest from the WWE in buying the company. There are reports online stating that a name familiar to wrestling fans is interested in purchasing TNA Wrestling with discussions already held between both parties, however the person in question is not believed to be Eric Bischoff.

Meanwhile, Janice Carter, the mother of Dixie Carter and executive at Panda Energy has responded to those reports in an internal memo issued to the talent roster. Carter informed talent and employees that she is pleased with the new TNA 365 initiative, the TNA Wrestling talent roster and noted that any rumors of the Carter Family attempting to sell their ownership stake in TNA Wrestling are false.
