In an update on WWE repackaging Primo & Epico on the main roster, this is something that the company have been working on since late last year, with the idea to repackage Los Matadores, with or without the mask as heels, before plans were later dropped.

There was a segment that aired on an episode of WWE SmackDown last year where Los Matadores turned heel on El Torito and put him through a table, however the company never went further and Los Matadores effectively stopped appearing on WWE television until Primo and Epico made an appearance during last night’s WWE RAW in a vignette, which can be viewed below.

For those wondering, there has been talk of Carlito returning to the company in recent months. The former WWE Intercontinental Champion was offered a WWE deal last year, however he rejected it at the time as he was not happy with the money WWE had on the table for him to return to the company. It will be interesting to see if both sides can come to an agreement and whether Carlito will be appearing alongside Primo and Epico in the coming weeks.
