Following her appearance alongside Ric Flair and Sgt. Slaughter at the WWE NXT Takeover: Brooklyn live special on the WWE Network on Saturday night, several reports coming out of Japan are noting that Kana (spelt Kanna by WWE on Saturday night) has signed a deal with the WWE and will report to NXT shortly.

For those wondering, Kana did not work the WWE tryouts at the Sumo Hall in Japan prior to the Beast in the East special on the WWE Network, however WWE did take a look at her work beforehand. The belief is that if she has signed that she will not be making her official debut until sometime after the WWE NXT Takeover event in October.
