In an update on WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon possibly relaunching a football league, Alpha Entertainment, which is McMahon’s separate entity from the WWE, applied to trademark “URFL” on September 26th with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

The following day, on September 27th, VKM Ventures (Vincent Kennedy McMahon Ventures) applied to trademark United Football League, UFL and For The Love Of Football with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Alpha Entertainment obviously falls under the VKM Ventures umbrella.
