In an update on Ric Flair missing the WWE NXT TakeOver live special due to a personal conflict, there are reports that Flair was hospitalized on September 9th at the Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, Georgia, which as a result forced the WWE to pull Flair out of his appearance, where he was scheduled to introduce Kenta as Hideo Itami to the NXT fans.

As things stand, Flair is still advertised to make off-air appearances at this week’s WWE TV tapings, including as a special guest referee in the dark match between Randy Orton and Roman Reigns at Tuesday’s WWE SmackDown tapings.
