– In an update on the television show that former WWE and New Japan Pro Wrestling star Montel Vontavious Porter is working on, Wrestling-News.Net can confirm that the show is a reality program that will see MVP travel to prisons around the United States. As of writing, the television show is the main focus for MVP going forward, however the door remains open on a possible appearance for either WWE, TNA Wrestling or New Japan Pro Wrestling.
– Several people within the WWE are pushing for Paul Bearer to be inducted into the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame class following the news of his untimely passing. If inducted, Bearer will join Bruno Sammartino, Bob Backlund, Trish Stratus, Donald Trump and Mick Foley as those announced for induction.

– WWE are looking for a new VP of Creative Writing. Job requirements require the person to develop and implement creative storylines for broadcast on all WWE programs and platforms in coordination with the writing team and senior creative management (CEO, EVP, SVP), work with the talent department to develop powerful character back-stories, manage the head writer, the home-based writers and the road writing team by providing feedback, training and supervision, use consumer insights and social media to deliver impactful storylines that are consistent with the WWE brand and each talent’s skills and history, identify new writing talent and ensure that current writers’ work is aligned with the network’s brand and programming strategy, supervise head writer in creating a comprehensive training program for new writers and remedial training for existing writers, work with senior management to continually improve the process supporting WWE’s creative writing system, provide mature leadership to the writing team, relating to the implementation of the vision of senior management (CEO, EVP, SVP) and drive professional interaction with other departments of the WWE (Talent Development, TV Production, Marketing, Digital, Sales and HR).
– Current plans are calling for Ryback and Mark Henry to take place at the WrestleMania 29 pay-per-view. There are also plans for a pre-show Battle Royal to determine the #1 Contender to either the United States or WWE Intercontinental Championship.
– In an update on Arnold Schwarzenegger potentially inducting Bruno Sammartino into the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame, both Triple H and Stephanie McMahon attended the Arnold Fitness Expo in Columbus, Ohio recently and requested to speak to Schwarzenegger about the possibility of inducting Bruno. Arnold and Bruno know each other for years and Arnold has admitted that he grew up watching Bruno wrestle. With Triple H maintaining a friendship with Schwarzenegger, based off the program they worked years ago, many are expecting Schwarzenegger to appear at the Hall of Fame on April 6th.
– Current plans call for the Jack Swagger and Alberto del Rio feud to last at least until the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view, with a submission match
– As mentioned previously, former TNA Knockout Rosita (Thea Trinidad) recently underwent a tryout for company officials prior to the “Old School” edition of WWE RAW in Buffalo, New York. Officials were pleased with Trinidad’s work and she is one of many names that the company are keeping their eyes on. The company are looking at signing women’s wrestlers with experience that are under 29, while they also are on the lookout at developing Divas through their own means. Speaking of Trinidad, she will be hosting a meet & greet and Zumba class on Saturday, March 23rd from 4-5pm Eastern at the Ciccone Family Fitness Center in Clinton, MA. The cost of the class/meet & greet is $15.
– WWE have dropped the Glenn Beck storyline stating internally that after he refused to speak to Michael Cole about his recent comments, that they don’t want to draw any attention to him and will move on.
– WWE will be returning to the Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas on May 12th, 2013 at 3 PM. Tickets go on sale March 16th.
