In an update on Chris Jericho attacking Tetsuya Naito at the New Japan Pro Wrestling “New Year’s Dash” event on January 5th, the day after the Wrestle Kingdom 12 pay-per-view, the belief is that this was to set up a match between the two down the line.

As of writing, the current plan is for Jericho vs. Naito to be announced for the New Japan Pro Wrestling “Strong Style Evolved” event on March 25th at the Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, California.
