In an update on Dragon Gate USA’s Open The Freedom Gate Champion, Johnny Gargano, the top-level independent superstar was taken to a hospital via ambulance following his match last night against Ricochet. Gargano was been kept overnight in the hospital, after it was suspected that he may have suffered a concussion during his match against Ricochet. Gargano looked very groggy towards the end of the match, before picking up the pin and retaining his championship. Gargano took a good while to get back to his feet and was walked to the backstage area by the Commision doctor, as well as EVOLVE Wrestling officials and was treated in the back until EMT’s arrived to him and take him to the hospital.
