In a new update to the ItBegins videos that are airing on WWE programming, as well as on YouTube, the expectation amongst many within the company is that the person behind the videos will be revealed to be Chris Jericho, making his return to the company on the January 2nd, 2012 edition of WWE Monday Night RAW in Memphis, Tennessee.

The current booking plans as of a few weeks ago, was for Chris Jericho to make his return on the January 2nd edition of WWE RAW, be involved in the Royal Rumble match at the end of January and build to a feud between himself and CM Punk that would occur at WWE WrestleMania 28.

As of writing, it is unknown if the match will be for the WWE Championship, as plans can and always do change in the WWE. It will be interesting to see post Tables, Ladders & Chairs or the Royal Rumble pay-per-view if CM Punk is still holding on to the WWE Championship leading upto WrestleMania.
