In an update to Chris Hero’s standing with both World Wrestling Entertainment and Ring of Honor Wrestling, coming off his appearance at last night’s Ring of Honor Final Battle 2011 pay-per-view, Hero has not signed a deal with Ring of Honor Wrestling, as he will undergo further testing with the WWE in January.
During his first testing for WWE’s developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling, Hero was believed to have had high levels of testosterone, which concerned WWE officials, however he is very high on the company’s wanted list, which is why he will undergo further testing in January. The prospect of WWE getting Hero is something they have wanted for years, which has been pushed more so, as they have his tag team partner from his ROH days in Claudio Castagnoli, now working under the name of Antonio Cesaro, working in WWE’s developmental.
I have been told that Ring Of Honor have a contract on the table, should his WWE deal fall through, but all signs are that he will be heading to FCW come January 2012. Hero kept last night’s appearance at Ring of Honor Final Battle very quiet from everyone he knew until he arrived at the arena last night.
