– WWE creative have been told to fast-track the CM Punk/Undertaker storyline as the legendary star could be returning to television on Monday’s “Old School” edition of WWE RAW. WWE finalized The Undertaker’s status for the event about a week ago, which is a reason he worked the WWE live event in Waco, Texas. Speaking of Punk, the former WWE Champion is said to be fighting an illness at the moment. Punk worked the 3-day tour of Qatar and Turkey, flew back and worked the lengthy match with John Cena on RAW. Work ethic folks, you best believe it.
– Vince McMahon’s stance on managers in wrestling seems to be improving as Vince has been discussing bringing back some names on a full-time basis. One of the reasons WWE contacted Dutch Mantel (Zeb Colter) to come in and work was to help Jack Swagger get over and connect with the audience in his storyline. Another name that was contacted by the company about potentially working with them at some point was James Mitchell, best known for his work with ECW and TNA Wrestling.
– Former WWE superstars Diamond Dallas Page and Dustin “Goldust” Runnels have signed on to the cast of an upcoming horror film titled “The Murders of Brandywine Theatre”, which will be released in 2014.
– Despite being removed from all advertised appearances for the WWE through WrestleMania, former WWE Champion Rey Mysterio was backstage at this week’s WWE TV tapings. Rey is currently dealing with what has been described as a family issue.
– WWE will be re-releasing several years worth of WrestleMania events on DVD according to updated Amazon listings. The company will release WrestleMania 1-15 on one-disc DVD for $10.47 each on March 12th, bar the exception of WrestleMania 3, which will cost $14.68.
– Alberto del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez will be appearing at the WWE NXT live event on March 15th, 2013. The event will take place from the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Immokalee, Florida.
– The Miz will be appearing on tonight’s episode of Conan to promote The Marine 3: Homefront.
