Speaking through his official Twitter account, WWE superstar Sin Cara tweeted that he was heading to the hospital for what he stated was a “mini surgery”.

“Thanks for all your support. On my road to the hospital for a mini surgery. See you later guys.”

Cara has been battling problems with his left knee in recent months, with the problems causing him pain at the WWE: Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view. The Shield attacking him on Tuesday’s commercial-free edition of WWE SmackDown was a way to write him off television.
