UFC President Dana White was asked about CM Punk’s performance at the UFC 225 event in a post-fight press conference and noted that Punk’s career in the UFC has probably come to an end. White noted that while 39-year-old Punk showed all the heart in the world and that he loves him, it should be a wrap.

White also stated that despite what was released by the company, he was not personally aware that Punk was taken to the hospital for a CT scan, but did note that a lot of fighters were medically transported after their fights. White noted that Punk had heart during the fight, but that he was clipped badly several times, yet his heart made him finish the fight and go all the way to the end.

White then turned his attention to Mike “The Truth” Jackson, Punk’s opponent at the event, stating that he was not happy with Jackson for not trying to finish the fight and acting out, stating that as far as he was concerned, Jackson is 0-2 also, noting that whatever Jackson was doing before he fought for the UFC, he needed to go back and do it and said that he would not bring back Jackson, that was it for his UFC career and he would not even consider him for the Contenders series.

White said that he was embarrassed by what happened in the fight on Mike Jackson’s side and that he regrets not placing the fight on the UFC Fight Pass prelims portion of the card. White placed a bit of blame squarely on Jackson not taking the fight seriously enough, questioning his “Bolo Punches” during the fight.
