WWE superstar Tyson Kidd could miss up to a year of in-ring action due to an injury suffered working a dark match against Samoa Joe prior to WWE RAW two weeks ago, according to a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
The report notes that Kidd sustained what is believed to be a spinal cord injury and that it is a possibility that Kidd might have to undergo a fusion surgery similar to what Stone Cold Steve Austin and Edge had for their necks and that both men have called Kidd to give him some moral support and advice.
The report also states that the injury was not a result of how Samoa Joe executed his Muscle Buster finisher.
