Speaking to Matt Striker on the WWE App during last night’s episode of WWE RAW, WWE Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett noted that his loss to R-Truth was a wake-up call for him and that he would be giving R-Truth a WWE Intercontinental Championship opportunity in the near future to prove that he can actually beat him.

With the WWE taping WWE Main Event, WWE Saturday Morning Slam and WWE SmackDown tonight before their European tour, it will be interesting to see if Truth walks out victorious in the #1 Contender’s Battle Royal scheduled for WWE Main Event to set up a rematch between the two.
