– In an interview with WHEB-FM’s “The Morning Buzz” to promote the WWE WrestleMania 29 pay-per-view, WWE’s EVP of Talent & Live Events, Triple H, noted that he cut off his trademark ponytail back in September, as wearing it on a daily basis in the corporate environment had become an increasing nuisance. Triple H noted that for the past year and a half, he had been dying to cut it off and it had started to become the bane of his existance and that he couldn’t wait for the time when he could finally get rid of it. HHH noted that he cut it that morning, drove to the office, took a few photos outside the WWE’s buildings and went inside and got upstairs and that not even 10 minutes later, someone told him that he was all over TMZ in regards to cutting his hair. The audio is available in full at this link.

– In another update on the debut of the WWE NXT Invaders, there were many people wondering as to why Kassius Ohno didn’t debut with the trio on Sunday night at the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view. Speaking of the creative decisions, Vince McMahon is said to be taking his time going over things before giving them the green light more so than ever.
– There is a feeling amongst many within the company that CM Punk is unhappy with the WWE for not promoting his appearance on this Sunday’s episode of The Talking Dead, as well as his Thanksgiving Day Parade in Chicago and that there has been a disconnection between CM Punk and the company over the past few weeks and that it was Punk who spoke out to Vince McMahon about creative decisions and not John Cena as it was initally believed. The feeling is that despite Punk going over a year as the WWE Champion, he still doesn’t feature on promotional material for the WrestleMania 29 pay-per-view and that with the company deciding to put the WWE Championship on The Rock at the 2013 Royal Rumble pay-per-view, that it will be interesting to see how Punk reacts and if he’s treated right during the WrestleMania season. With that said, the same people within the company believe that Punk is happy with his pull in developmental, not to the level of Triple H, however he’s able to push for people to be hired. Punk is expected to be a big focus in the NXT Invaders storyline going forward.
