All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan took part in the post-AEW Full Gear media scrum and discussed several topics, including the launch of the WWE ID program, Jon Moxley, Big Boom! A.J. and much more.

Khan said that he did not have the numbers yet, when it came to pay-per-view buys, but strongly suspects that it did better than AEW WrestleDream.

Khan was asked about the WWE ID program and said that it would have an effect on the independent scene, but noted that he has been providing independent wrestling talent with opportunities for a while, noting that they were the best place for independent wrestling talent to go during the Pandemic Era, and put over Daniel Garcia as someone who benefited from that during that time.

Khan also put over Big Boom! AJ and family, stating that it was the first time that he had met “The Rizzler” at AEW Full Gear, and hoped that the family were a gateway for the casual fan the same way that GI Joe and Sgt. Slaughter were for him to get into pro wrestling.

Khan was then asked about The New York Post article and said that Jon Moxley wanting to help younger talent was the greatest thing in the world, and that every time Moxley has been the Champion, it’s been good for the company and said that Moxley is one of the most important people in AEW.

Khan was asked about the status of Ricky Starks, Kenny Omega and Adam Copeland and stated to keep an eye in the future and noted that Omega would be working the Wrestle Dynasty event and noted that he could not wait to have talent back.
