All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan took part in a pre-AEW Full Gear media call and discussed several topics, including the decision for AEW to run smaller venues, and why he hopes to recapture the atmosphere of early AEW shows.

Khan said that he hopes to recapture the atmosphere, putting over venues in Cedar Park, Texas and Austin, Texas that he loves running.

Khan said that the instances of the AEW Dynamite & AEW Collision tapings on the same night will be rare and only in cases where they have international travel planned, or some other circumstance that necessitates the need for the double taping.
