A segment featuring Brooke Hogan addressing the TNA Knockouts was cut from last night’s live episode of TNA Impact Wrestling on Spike TV due to time constraints. TNA Knockout Mickie James acknowledged the fact on her Twitter account by stating, “I am so sorry gang. Seems I have lied. I assure you not purposely! I will not be on the show tonight. Watching it live backstage. Enjoy! ;)”
Meanwhile, during last night’s show TNA Wrestling President Dixie Carter announced that the company will introduce their own Hall of Fame, with the first inductee to be inducted at TNA Slammiversary.
In speaking to several TNA sources, the two names that are at the top of the list are Jeff Jarrett and Sting. I was told that the announcement of the company inducting Jarrett could potentially be a way to bring him back to television after he was recently working for their Indian spin-off promotion Ring Ka King and has not appeared on TNA Wrestling television since December 2011 when he along with Karen Jarrett were fired following Jarrett’s loss to Jeff Hardy.
TNA Slammiversary 2012 takes place at the College Park Center on June 10th, 2012 in Arlington, Texas.
