The following results are from a recent TNA No Surrender TV Special. The event took place on September 12th, 2013 at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri and aired live at 9pm Eastern on Spike TV.
Opening Segment
The show opened with a video package looking at the final 4 participants in the TNA Bound For Glory Series and each man’s quest to become TNA World Heavyweight Champion. The video package then turned to the TNA World Heavyweight Championship between Bully Ray and Mr. Anderson and the dissension between both Aces & Eights members.
In Ring Segment
Bully Ray and Brooke Tessmacher came to the ring. Bully said that he’s in a bad mood and it’s in everyone’s best interest not to annoy him. Bully says that things have not been going great lately and it’s because of one man, Hulk Hogan. Hogan says that at the end of the night, the fans will have their main event for TNA Bound For Glory, however before that, Bully faces Anderson tonight. Bully says that Hogan is the reason there are problems within Aces & Eights and says Anderson will do the right thing, however Hogan says he needs to focus on his title defense. Ken Anderson came out with Bully Ray telling him that all he needs to do is apologize and everything is okay. Anderson says that Bully is right as he was out of line and he’ll be out of line again tonight when that title is on the line. Anderson attacked Bully and then headed up the entrance ramp. Hogan announces that the match is now a Last Man Standing Match.
TNA Bound For Glory Series Semi-Final Match
AJ Styles defeated Austin Aries.
Backstage Segment
Sting and Magnus are in the back going back and forth about the Bound For Glory Series match. Magnus says that he’s tired of being referred to as the future of TNA Wrestling and says that while Sting and Samoa Joe have taught him so much, tonight, the future becomes the now.
TNA Bound For Glory Series Semi-Final Match
Magnus defeated Bobby Roode.
Backstage Segment
Bobby Roode is in the back with Christopher Daniels and Kazarian trying to calm him down after his loss to Magnus. Roode says taht Hogan screwed them and it’s time for them now to do the same to Hogan. Roode says that if he’s not going to TNA Bound For Glory, then nobody will be going.
Backstage Segment
Hulk Hogan and Manik are in the back with Manik requesting a match against Jeff Hardy. Hogan says that Hardy is no walk in the park, but the match is on. Dixie Carter came in and announced that Bellator have informed her that Rampage Jackson and Tito Ortiz have been pulled from TNA television so that they can focus on their training leading up to their big fight. Hogan says that news is great, as he’s tired of Tito Ortiz.
Backstage Segment
Bully Ray is in the clubhouse saying that he can’t believe Ken Anderson’s actions and then looks at the other members of the group. Bully asks the other members if they want Anderson as the President of the group, however none of them answer. Bully says that they make him proud because of their loyalty and he hopes that they feel the same about him.
Last Man Standing Match For The TNA World Heavyweight Championship
Bully Ray (c) defeated Ken Anderson. Post-match, Ken Anderson is taken out on a stretcher.
In Ring Segment
James Storm and Gunner come to the ring with Storm saying that himself and Gunner want to fight and says that all they need is opponents and it doesn’t matter who it is, because someone in the back needs to man up. Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez come out and say that Bound For Glory 2012 was where they won the Tag Titles and that he has seen Storm & Gunner on a losing streak for a while now. Gunner says that next week, the match is on and if Chavo & Hernanddez win, they get a title shot. Gunner holds up the belt and says that if they stick their nose in his business again, he’ll flatten it.
TNA Bound For Glory Series Finals
AJ Styles defeated Magnus to win the TNA Bound For Glory Series and earn a TNA World Heavyweight Championship match at TNA Bound For Glory.
