Former WWE Champion Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is scheduled to be part of a big marketing campaign centered on the release of Furious 7, the seventh installment in the Fast & Furious series, scheduled for release on April 3rd, 2015, the week after the WrestleMania 31 pay-per-view.

While The Rock is remaining non-committal to being part of the WrestleMania 31 pay-per-view in March 2015, Universal and the WWE have worked out agreements to use WrestleMania to cross-promote The Rock’s upcoming movies, which is leading to speculation that he could wrestle at the event.

For those wondering, the first trailer is scheduled to be released on Saturday, November 1st, while this week, there will be a series of videos released containing movie clips, leading up to the actual release of the trailer for the movie that stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Statham, Ludacris and the late Paul Walker.
