Although he is currently shooting G.I. Joe 2 and getting prepared for his tag team match at WWE Survivor Series this coming Sunday, it appears as if The Rock has also lined up a role in another upcoming film, to be released in 2012.

According to a report from Deadline.com, The Rock has signed up to appear in a live action adventure film titled, Monster Hunter’s Survival Guide. The movie is based upon the comic book mini-series created by John Paul Russ, that is based on a comprehensive guide to hunt monsters, unnatural beasts, the undead and survive the confrontations.
