El Dandy took El Satanico’s hair in their hair match at Arena el Angel in Reynosa yesterday afternoon in what could be the last hair match for both men.
There has been a brewing verbal war between the Chilanga Mask promotion and Arkangel de la Muerte who was working as the liasion between them & CMLL in getting talent for their shows. It all started when Rey Cometa & Escandalo were injured on a previous show and Chilanga Mask supposedly didn’t help them out in their bills so when it came time for the next show that was supposed to take place next Sunday, CMLL refused to send talent.
Chilanga Mask then went and publically bashed Arkangel for this who fired back saying that just because CMLL pulled 4 guys from working the show shouldn’t mean that the promotion should cancel the show outright and it’s not their fault.
Senator Diva Hadamira Gestelum Bajo who represents the state of Sinaloa (Culiacan & Mazatlan) is demanding that the Mexican government investigate the current working conditions of Lucha Libre saying that the promotions are unfairly treating their employees. She said that the talent is currently classified as independent contractors but if they want to work a show that the promotion doesn’t want them to work then they must either cancel the booking or the promotion will punish them which is unfair. The story has gotten some fairly major press around the country and the fact that it’s not the wrestlers making the case but a politician makes this different than what we have seen over the years in the United States when this issue has come up.

3. La Anarquia (Daga/Eterno/Steve Pain) beat The Psycho Circus (Monster Clown/Murder Clown/Psycho Clown) with Texano attacking Psycho allowing Daga to beat the distracted Monster.
4. El Consejo (Hijo del Fantasma/Hijo del Texano/Mascara Ano Dos Mil Jr.) defeated Alan Stone/Axel/Elegido
5. Averno/Chessman/Pentagon Jr. beat Cibernetico/Fenix/Psycho Clown – Averno made his debut here and Psycho did double duty. Averno pinned Fenix clean and afterwards Mistico’s theme music played and a man in all white came out and attacked La Sociedad using moves that shockingly looked like Mistico’s moves.

3. Hijo del Javier Cruz & Leo beat Espectrum & Evola – Leo subbed for Exterminador who came out in a neckbrace and attacked Evola.

1. Magnus & Molotov beat Camorra & Zayco
2. Espanto Jr./Hooligan/Nitro defeated Dragon Lee/Metatron/Star Jr.
3. Polvora/Tiger/Virus beat Black Panther/Stigma/Triton
4. Lightning Match: Fuego defeated Felino by referee stoppage after they clashed heads on a Quebrada by Fuego. Felino was clearly dazed and stretchered out.
5. Los Guerreros Laguneros (Euforia/Gran Guerrero/Niebla Roja) beat Marco Corleone/Rey Cometa/Titan
6. Los Bad Boys (La Mascara/Rush/La Sombra) defeated Mascara Dorada/Valiente/Volador Jr. when Rush fouled and pinned Volador. Los Bad Boys ripped off masks and even tackled Tirantes at one point.

2. Alan Extreme/Golden Magic/Metaleon defeated Guerrero Mixteco/Hip Hop Man/Orion with Alan & Mixteco agreeing to a hair match afterwards.
3. Apolo Estrada Jr./Hijo del Diablo/Tony Rivera beat Black Terry/Dr. Cerebro/Veneno by DQ when Apolo faked a foule by Terry.
4. Demon Clown/Eterno/X-Fly defeated Hijo del Dos Caras/Super Nova/Toscano when Demon fouled and pinned Dos.
5. Por el Rey del Ring: Hijo del Mascara Ano Dos Mil beat Hijo del Pirata Morgan with help from Eterno to retain his title. MA2K then went off on Eterno for getting involved and this brought out X-Fly who also had some issues with Eterno and it lead to all four men agreeing to an apuestas match afterwards.

After this match, Brazo de Oro came out and apologized to the fans saying that not only was the injured Mistico II not there but Volador Jr., Negro Casas, & Rey Escorpion weren’t there either but CMLL sent some suitable replacements.

4. Decision Match por el Latin American Trios Titles: Damian 666/Halloween/Hijo del Black Silver defeated Apolo Estrada Jr./Las Traumas I y II with Damian pinning Trauma II. Viento/X-Torm/Zarco then came out and challenged them for a title shot afterwards.
