Aero Star stated today that he suffered a cervical contracture after the powerbomb he received from Super Fly at last night’s AAA TV taping in Queretaro. Aero didn’t specify how long he would be out of action but he will be in a neckbrace for at least a week so his status for working the TV taping on Thursday is up in the air.
For those of you who haven’t seen this….VICE Magazine did an excellent article this week on Cassandro and how his life and gimmick are intertwined.
Last night’s show at Arena Mexico did not air on Terra which the Sunday Arena Coliseo show also didn’t air on Terra and nothing was said about neither show airing by Terra or CMLL. The Informa show aired on Wednesday as usual so there is no issue with that but the fact that no one is explaining what the deal is on either side is ridiculous.

AAA 6/27 – Auditorio Jose Maria Arteaga de Queretaro (TV taping)
1. Angel Rebelde/Gremlin/Optimus beat Castigador/Dark Crazy/Drabek I
2. Dinastia/Mascarita Sagrada/Mini Drago defeated Mini Abismo Negro/Mini Charly Manson/Mini Psycho Clown
3. Argos/Carta Brava Jr./Gran Apache/Super Fly beat Aero Star/Argenis/Ludxor/Venum with Super Fly using the Superbomb on Aero.
4. Bengala/Drago/Fenix defeated La Anarquia (Daga/Eterno/Steve Pain) with Fenix going over Daga and demanding that he get a shot at the AAA Cruiserweight Title but Aero Star & Bengala are supposed to face each other to get the shot. Fenix offered to put his FUSION title up to get in the match but Daga said only if Eterno & Pain can be in the match as well. AAA is hinting at a multi-man match for both titles which is nice considering they ran two torneos to determine co #1 contenders.
5. Australian Suicide/Los Gueros del Cielo (Angelico & Jack Evans) beat Hijo del Fantasma/Hijo del Pirata Morgan/Pentagon Jr.
6. Electro Shock/Mytzeziz/Psycho Clown defeated Averno/Hijo del Texano/Jeff Jarrett when Electro bashed Jarrett’s guitar over his head then challenged him to a hair match afterwards.
CMLL 6/27 – Arena Mexico
1. Robin & Starman beat Inquisidor & Super Comando
2. Dark Angel/Marcela/Princesa Sugei defeated Dalys la Caribena/Princesa Blanca/La Seductora by DQ when Seductora ripped off Sugei’s mask and we could be seeing a female cage match soon.
3. Lightning Match: Niebla Roja beat Guerrero Maya Jr.
4. Torneo Cibernetico Busca de un Idolo: Negro Casas defeated Virus to win this for the 2nd year in a row. Order of Elimination: Star Jr./Soberano/Super Halcon Jr./Cachorro/Guerrero Negro Jr./El Barbaro Cavernario & Rey Hechicero (by double pin)/Dragon Lee II/Virus
5. Blue Panther/Titan/Volador Jr. beat Dragon Rojo/Ephesto/Rey Escorpion with Rojo & Scorp having issues for the 2nd time this week.
6. Relevos Increibles: Atlantis/Mr. Niebla/Shocker defeated Rush/La Sombra/Ultimo Guerrero when Sombra threw his mask at Shocker trying to call for the DQ but Shocker pinned him before the referee saw it.
