Antifaz del Norte had a match with Gigga last Sunday at Arena el Angel de Reynosa for a title that was pictured on the poster as the 90’s WWF Intercontinental Title belt with the white strap but when he showed up to defend his title on the show it ended up being a replica version of the CMLL Heavyweight Title belt.
CMLL has announced that their next major show will be the annual Juicio Final show and it will take place on August 1st. These shows are normally main evented by multi-man steel cage matches where someone gets their head shaved or unmasked so the next couple of months will be buildup to this show.
Julio Cesar Rivera stated on CMLL Informa on terra.com.mx on Wednesday that the only Mistico is the one that works for them and is currently injured. JCR then said that if anyone else goes around Mexico using the name Mistico then they are a fraude and someone trying to leech off a name that the promotion owns and no one else.
