In a recent interview with Contralona, Tessa Blanchard addressed several topics, including her current TNA Wrestling contract status, her departure from the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) promotion in Mexico and more.

“Deciding to appear in Impact was complicated, because I have a lot of respect for CMLL, I grew up there as a wrestler and I’m grateful to them for the opportunities they gave me.”

Describing TNA as her home, Blanchard emphasized that she has not yet signed a contract with TNA Wrestling.

“That’s my home, I had some of the most important stories of my career there, I want to prove that I can still compete at the highest level.”

On entering into a feud with Jordynne Grace, Blanchard stated that it’s simply a case of proving who is the best wrestler in the world.

“She’s at the top of her career, but I think if I had been in Impact all this year, her success would be different. I want to prove who is the best wrestler in the world. I’ve faced men and women, won Championships and lived greate storylines, and I’m ready to do it again.”
