Former ECW World Champion Taz will be undergoing surgery on his hand today in an attempt to repair nerve damage that has led to a loss of feeling, muscle atrophy and an inability for him to grip things with his right hand.

Taz noted recently that he has nerve damage in his neck from his time in the wrestling business that has trickled down to his hand and that surgeons will be going through his wrist in an attempt to bring some of the nerves back to life, similar to a carpal tunnel surgery, but on a more grander scale and that the surgery and subsequent recovery means that he will have to miss several episodes of his radio show.
